Instructor Profiles: 

 Sifu H. David Collins:   Sifu Collins is the Founder and Chief-Instructor of the Fire and Water System of Martial Arts.  He has over 45 years of experience in the martial arts and has studied under various masters throughout the world.  In 1971, Sifu Collins founded the American School of Empty Hand Fighting and began teaching Fire and Water Mixed Martial Arts.  This unique system is based upon his knowledge and experiences in the Asian Martial Arts, American Boxing, Kickboxing, grappling and military hand-to-hand combat tactics.  Currently, he serves as a training advisor to various military units, law enforcement agencies and security teams. Sifu Collins teaches full time, offering instruction in the Fire and Water System, as well as several other purist martial styles.  In addition, Sifu Collins is the owner/operator of Collins Expeditions with the goal of providing high-adventure, outdoor sports activities in a family friendly, Christian environment. 

David Roberts:  In 2007, David was recognized by Sifu Collins as a 5th degree black belt in Fire and Water Martial Arts. Throughout his 20+ years of study, he has emphasized Mixed Martial Arts, Kung Fu, Chin Na, Tai Chi Chuan and Kickboxing.   ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------. Bill Rock:  Bill started his martial arts training in IsshinRyu Karate in 1979, obtaining the rank of 3rd Dan.  For the last 10 years, he has pursued Combat Aikido and is recognized as a second degree black belt in this style.  Additionaly, he serves as one of the primary instructors for the Fire and Water Kendo program.                         .

Jonathan Roberts:  In early 2005, Jonathan received his black sash in Kung Fu.  Throughout his 20+ years of experience in the Fire and Water Martial Arts, his studies have included Mixed Martial Arts, contact fighting, Kung Fu and Aikido.   He is a monkey animal stylist, but is adept in other styles of Kung Fu as well.

 

 

John Rowlette:  In June of 2007, John received his black belt in Fire and Water Martial Arts.  Throughout his 14 years of experience in the Fire and Water Martial Arts, his studies have included Mixed Martial Arts, contact fighting, Aikido, and the Snake System of Kung Fu.  

 

Matt Rognerud:    In April 2008, Matt recieved his black belt in Combat Aikido.  In addition to the Aikido system, Matt serves as one of the primary instructors for the Fire and Water Kendo program.
