Collins Expeditions
Collins Expeditions is owned and operated by David Collins. Its purpose
is to provide high-adventure, outdoor sports activities in a family friendly,
Christian environment. It is David's desire to instill upon others both his love
of the outdoors and his appreciation for the beauty of God's Creation.
Collins Expeditions provides instruction in Basic, Intermediate and
Advanced Mountaineering and rappelling.
Beginning classes are taught on location utilizing the school's outdoor
climbing wall and rappelling tower.
During later classes, students will receive the opportunity to practice
their skills by scaling up and rappelling down an actual mountainside.
Other services include
SCUBA, skydiving, snow boarding/skiing, firearm safety courses/firing ranges and Wilderness Survival
Training.
The Survival Training includes building a shelter, finding and purifying
water, identifying edible plants and animals, building traps and snares, basic
orienteering and much more.
In addition to the high adventure activities above, David also guides and
organizes canoeing, camping, hiking and fly-fishing
excursions.
Collins Expeditions is now offering Surfing trips to Cocoa Beach, Florida and other areas. Instruction available to those who have never surfed! Call or stop by to get the details on upcoming trips.
